Those scarves came to me with no colour. Just pure white silk. I used them to test acid dyes for a baby wrap, the results of which you can still see – the blue, yellow, purple, and magenta are from that era.
And then, having acquired all kinds of wooden blocks from a nearby art and craft supply shop, I decided to fold, tie, and put them in a fibre reactive dye. And voila, now they look way more sophisticated than before.
I am adding clamps to my wish list. After all, a girl can’t have enough tools to play with.
