Last week I wove two samples, on the basis of the same pattern of vertical hearts. I changed a pattern a little bit for the second sample, to make the hearts a little less angular. The pattern on the screen started to look fuzzy, but I know (ask me how) that the screen look and look of the woven pattern are very, very different. Hence sampling.
So, here are the results: one corner: screen view of the pattern, the the face and reverse of one sample. The second sample is in the other corner. And in the middle I took a shot of two samples together.
Which pattern looks better, #1 or #2?
