This week we had two major snow storms. A power black-out for 14 hours, and a day and a half of workout with a snow shovel. And a series of excellent backdrops for a silk cardigan that a very skilled friend of mine knitted a year ago. I have been wearing it a lot, and I love the craftsmanship, the feel of silk noil, the drape and the lace.
